NEWTON and SoftEthix are proud to announce the release of Charles Manson, Timothy Leary, and the Animals of NIMH, a new video game premiering at 4649 Gallery in Tokyo on Friday, February 10, 2023 6-8pm, which features a group exhibition of related works on display until March 12th, 2023. Following the event, the game will be made available on Steam.

In "Charles Manson, Timothy Leary, and The Animals of NIMH," players delve into the hidden narrative of the CIA's covert operations in the United States. Unveiling this enigmatic history is a group of deranged rats, trapped within a perplexing maze. As consciousness dawns upon them, two rats, convinced they embody Charles Manson and Timothy Leary, engage in heated debates about the destiny of a potential rat civilization. These animals, subjected to mind-altering experiments orchestrated by psychedelic captors, find themselves physically divided by walls, yet spiritually connected.
